With a 25+ year career spanning from Broadway to cartoons, TV to the concert stage- King will take you on a musical journey featuring songs by Cole Porter, Cy Coleman, the worlds of jazz, Broadway and the Great American Songbook, tales of being on the road with Liza Minnelli, and a throwback to the golden age of nightclubs reminiscent of Tony Bennett and Bobby Darin. NICOLAS KING has been performing since he was 4 years old. Having been in 3 Broadway productions before the age of 12 is no small feat. Aside from appearing opposite Tom Selleck in A Thousand Clowns, and Carol Burnetts Hollywood Arms directed by Hal Prince, he was Broadways longest running Chip in Disneys Beauty and The Beast. On TV, King has appeared on The View, The Today Show, Sally Jesse Raphael, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and twice on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (including Lenos final week as host in 2014). He has released 4 studio albums, and his latest album, Act One - Celebrating 25 Years of Recordings, features collaborations with Jane Monheit, Norm Lewis, hit-maker Charles Calello, and longtime musical director Mike Renzi. Nicolas is the recipient of the 1995 and 1996 Talent America Award, 2010 Julie Wilson Award, 2015 AMG Award for Artist of the Year, the 2012 Bistro Award for Outstanding Performer of the Year, the 2019 Legends Award for his contribution to the preservation of the Great American Songbook, and the 2020 BroadwayWorld Award for Best Swing Act.
